I heard from the DNC today. Chairman Howard Dean's ofc will be sending his DVD'd message tomorrow for us to see at the Banquet on 8 Sept. They also asked for my number so their press ofc. can call to talk about helping get some press coverage for our Club. Isn't that great?! So far we have greetings from Sen. John Edwards and Sen. Barack Obama. It's going to be a great evening!

I noticed in the Dallas paper today that we'll have a special election on Constitutional Amendments on Nov. 6th. Look for the Club to take a position on all the amendments and publish our thoughts in local papers prior to the election.
