Even though there have been no posts for almost a year on this blog, it is amazing how things seem to be the same. We are still talking and working against the Keystone Pipeline. It is in the news today that President Obama has changed his tune and is pushing for fast tracking the pipeline from Oklahoma through Texas. You'll see a post from last year talking about this pipeline. And there is also discussion about the defunding of Planned Parenthood from last year. Now that is a current topic still.
I find it interesting that we are in the same place and in many ways moving backwards ---- and this is 2012!!!

March Meeting of Cherokee County Democrats
The next meeting of the Cherokee County Democrats will be TONIGHT Thursday, March 22, at Lupes Mexican Restaurant on U.S. 79 in Jacksonville. Our guest speaker will be Kent Hutchison, a politically involved motivational speaker from Nacogdoches. Also on the agenda is the upcoming primary election, the County Convention (Saturday, April 21, County Courthouse), and also the State Convention, June 8 & 9. This is an important meeting. Please be there and bring a friend! As always, dinner will be available to those who wish to eat.
